AL-Khalifa Greening Tour and Workshop

Al-Khalifa Greening Tour and Workshop

Join “al-Khalifa Greening Tour and Workshop”, exploring how greening initiatives and activities come together with architectural conservation, public space, and heritage education on al-Khalifa Street. The tour offers insights into Athar Lina Initiative’s multidisciplinary projects and proceeds to al-Khalifa Park for a hands-on greening workshop. The workshop will offer an introduction to types of crops, small-scale urban farming techniques for households, and basic composting methods. This introduction is followed with a family planting activity where attendees will colour their own planting pots and plant herbs to take home. This event aims to promote sustainable and community engagement practices in preserving Cairo’s environment and heritage.
